We are currently filled beyond capacity and have a waiting list. If you need help with a pet that you are no longer able to keep, we may be able to assist you through our Adoption Assistance Program.

Mission Statement
Field of Dreams Rescue was founded in 2007 as a privately funded, all volunteer organization. Dogs and cats are accepted on a space available basis into foster homes to receive medical care, socialization and training with the intention of finding a permanent adoptive home. Through community assistance programs we educate, promote spay neuter efforts and provide assistance to individuals.
We celebrated our 500th Adoption on January 9, 2010! The rescue is thrilled to have helped over 500 animals in need within a span of 3 years!!! Because FODR is a no kill shelter with limited space and funding, animals are taken into our care based upon space and need.
"From our foster homes to your home"...
We foster animals in our own homes so that they will be adopted into loving permanent homes. Foster Homes are always a main priority, without them we cannot rescue! Rescues take a special person to understand and care for them;
ARE YOU THAT ONE?
Save a life today!
Help Field of Dreams to make a difference in the lives of animals!
• ADOPT A RESCUE dog or cat
• Foster one of our rescues.
• Volunteer your time to help with adoption days, grant proposals and more.
• Make a monetary donation for food, medicine and veterinary care or donate needed supplies.
• Spay and neuter your pets and encourage friends and family to do so as well. Did you know?
• According to Spay USA, each day 10,000 people are born in the U.S. and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. As long as these birthrates exist, there will never be enough homes for all the animals.
• The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) estimates that in six years, one female dog and her offspring can theoretically produce 67,000 dogs.
• The HSUS estimates that 3-4 million cats are dogs are euthanized each year.
